These Scarves are all Handmade.  They are made by a process known as felting.  Layer upon layer of fine wool fibers and silk are laid, this produces the background, finer details are added with yet more layer.  The whole piece is then wet and rolled and rolled and I mean rolled and rolled.  It takes ages.  It is at this stage the scarf begins to take on the scarf look, it turn into a fabric as opposed to a bunch of fibers.  The way the fiber interact and meld together is utterly unique, no two pieces ever are alike.  So you really get ONE OF A KIND piece.  Each of these scarves are a piece of art, Wearable Art.

Vibrant red poppies are strewn across this scarf, with dramatic swirls of leaf green foliage running along one edge of the scarf. This two edged design is unique and dramatic. 

Vibrant and Bold swirls of Colour, like a raging sea swish across this scarf, Hence "THE TEMPEST". Earthy greens compliment the designs. Sky Blue fibres blend with Midnight Blue shades to create the background for this scarf. Floral art of striking red Poppies are strewn dramatically on one ends of the scarf. This creates a dynamic look when worn, where the detail is on just one end. 



Pale steel grey fibres blend with Nude Pink shades to create the background for this scarf. spray of pale ice blue and slithers if chocolate brown add another dimension above the background. A details of Abstract Floral Swirls is created above this in dark sea blue. The scarf has a super fine cobwebs in the morning dew feel and look to it. The design for this scarf is inspired by our family summer holiday to Seattle, a weekend at Lake Chelan. +Lake Chelan City Guide The design incorporates blue waters swirling the length of the scarf with an edge in brown and a pale green depicting the bare mountain landscape and the rich vegetation on the fertile slopes, the many vine yards and orchards we drove to. The scarf has a super fine cobwebs in the morning dew feel and look to it. design set on a cream/off white semi translucent background. Size 180 cm by 38 cm.




Our recent summer holiday to Seattle +The Seattle Times was the inspiration for this design, a trek up Crystal Mountain, +Crystal Mountain Resort We were just in time for the fabulous wildflower display - hence the title Paradise. The design incorporates fabulous wildflowers with slithers of various shades of green running through on a cream/off white semi translucent background with a beautiful drape quality. Size 180 cm by 38 cm

Mount Rainier was the inspiration for this scarf. The design incorporates a dark chocolate brown background at one end with slithers of ice blue, snow white and sky grey running through it. The other end has a misty grey semi translucent background with slithers of ice blue running through it. The two contrasting colour end produce a dramatic effect when draped around your neck.

Strawberries and Cream at Wimbledon was the inspiration for this design - hence the title STRAWBERRY N CREAM RIPPLE. The design incorporates fabulous slithers and ripples of various shades of strawberry red and pink, running, rippling, twirling and swirling delicately through on a cream/off white semi translucent background.




The design incorporates shades of green running through the scarf. one end has a detail of strips of green print running length ways, and the other end has squares of green. textural details of grey and cream natural fibers are incorporated throughout the scarf.



 The design incorporates strips of printed cotton layered between feathery layers of wool. Swirls of Sea Blue and Green flow dramatically through the length of the scarf set on a cream/off white semi translucent background


Shades of Blue fibres blend and streak its way across this scarf to create the background. Dramatic red roses, rendered in a watercolour art, painting effect are strewn across the length of the scarf. Fine fibers of leaf green create foliage around the roses.
